Bob has been in the I.T. industry for over 20 years and managed teams at Compaq Computer Corporation, HP, and now HPE. He is currently the director of server software for the HPE server division and leads the initiative for incorporating cyber security protection technology in our servers, networking, and storage solutions. His team is also responsible for working collaboratively with partners and suppliers on new performance technologies like the recently announced Intelligent System Tuning.
Prior to his current role, Bob managed the options team at HP, including server memory, hard drives, and processors. He also developed outreach programs to HP regions and countries around the world through roadshows that showcased the HP technologies. At Compaq Computer Corporation, Bob lead the server strategy team that drove the multi-year vision for technology direction and products.
Also, as a Lieutenant Colonel in the army reserve, with the US Army Special Forces Command, Bob has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan rebuilding infrastructure and managing IT systems.
